SAFETY MEASURES WE ARE TAKING REGARDING COVID AND OTHER VIRUSES IN THE OFFICE.
The health and well-being of all our patients (and staff) is the highest priority in this office. We want to let you know the steps we are taking on top of our normal sanitary procedures. We hope through our screening, as above, and people's vigilance that we do not have anyone coming in with Covid or other respiratory illness. However, we also maintain many Covid
era practices to help protect everyone.
We purchased the Aerus Beyond Air purification units, placing one in each treatment room, the lobby and the back office. There is an Aerus AP500 unit in the hallway. The Aerus Active Pure system has been certified to kill the Covid-19 virus in independent laboratory testing. The air in our size rooms is completely filtered/exchanged every 5 minutes or less.
As usual, the tables and the Sigma stool are sprayed and wiped down with a medical grade disinfectant cleaner after every patient. This includes the whole surface, the breathing gap and the surface under the breathing gap.
We ask anyone who has been ill or has potentially been in an exposed situation to reschedule their appointment. If any of the staff have a cold or present with the listed symptoms, that person will not be in the office until they are well, and we are sure that they are not infected with Covid. People getting a positive result from a Covid test are required to cancel any appointments with us and not to reschedule until 24 hours after a negative test and no fever.
Dr. Williams will wear a mask if requested to do so by a patient.
At the check-in station there is a hand sanitizer to be used after checking in. The check-in station is wiped down periodically through the day and all surfaces, door handles and contact items are used frequently in the lobby are wiped down with Chlorox wipes. The chair seats, backs and arm rests are sprayed with Lysol Disinfectant.
Hand sanitizers are available in many locations within the office.
As always, the foot scanner is cleaned after every scan and the touch screen is also cleaned after each use.
The restroom is cleaned frequently using Chlorox wipes.
